The All Progressives Congress (APC) has shifted the date of its presidential primary election from Tuesday, September 25, 2018 to Thursday, September 27, 2018.
This was made known in a statement on Sunday, September 23, 2018 by Yekini Nabena, acting spokesman of the APC.
According to Nabena, party members should collect permanent membership cards from their respective wards.
The statement from Nabena read:
“The presidential direct primary election earlier scheduled for Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 will now hold on Thursday, September 27th, 2018.
“Duly registered party members are to collect their permanent membership cards from their respective wards”.
Though no reasons were given for the change in date, the party had earlier shifted the primary election from September 20 to September 25.
