BUHARI RETURNS FROM MEDICAL TRIP AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
President Muhammadu Buhari returned from his medical trip to the United Kingdom 24 hours earlier than scheduled.
Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu in his statement notifying Nigerians of the trip had said the president would be back on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
Addressing journalists after his plane touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, President Buhari said: “I just went for further medical checkup. I am now okay. Thank you”.
He was received at the airport by Muhammad Bello, minister of federal capital territory, and a representative of Ibrahim Idris, the inspector-general of police.
Chief of staff to the president, Abba Kyari was also amongs top government officials that received the President.
