The senior pastor, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo has tackled Busola Dakolo, celebrity photographer, with respect to the rape charge made against him.
According to the pastor, he is yet to receive any court document as being reported in the news.
Busola, wife of Timi Dakolo, Nigerian singer, had accused Fatoyinbo of raping her on two occasions when she was a teenager.
In a summon document issued by the federal high court sitting in Abuja on September 6, 2019 the pastor was asked to appear in court within 14 days.
The document also carries a vivid description of the charges levelled against the COZA pastor.
One of the claims she made in the suit was that Fatoyinbo “forcefully pushed her unto a couch close to the front door of her house, pinned her to the couch, undressed her, caressed her body, fondled her breasts, exposed his genitals to her glare, forcing a bottle of soda (Krest) down her throat thereby making her breathing difficult”.
The COZA pastor, however, took to his Instagram page on Monday evening, September 9, 2019 to hit back at her, saying she should stop telling lies. He wrote:
“I normally would not respond to news. But will do so only this time. Allow me to respond in Pidgin English: ‘Stop lying up an Dan’“We have heard the latest report. We have not received any court document and if we do, we would respond accordingly because we have utmost respect for the law”.
