SENATOR OMO-AGEGE EMERGES DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, lawmaker representing Delta central, has been elected deputy president of the senate.

The senator who was alleged to have been the mastermind behind the National Assembly invasion in 2018, when the mace was stolen defeated Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who was deputy senate president in the 6th, 7th and 8th Assembly.
